All applicants to Brighton Barber Institute (BBI) must apply for enrollment online. If/ when accepted, student will attend orientation session and bring with them the following documents:

• High School Diploma or GED or an Ability to Benefit exemption as outlined in Ability to benefit policy.
• State issued Driver’s License or Government ID.
• Social Security Card.
• Application and all Fees required for admission.

Operator to Class A Barber will need
to meet the following requirement:

Operator to Class A Barber applicants must provide Current Texas Cosmetology Operator License.
Operator to Class A Barber applicants must be free of TDLR violations at time of application.

Foreign Students:

BBI accepts foreign high school diplomas that have been translated and evaluated by an outside agency that is qualified to translate documents into English and confirm the academic equivalence to a U.S. High School Diploma. Evidence of the translation and evaluation will be maintained in the students’ file.
